Pricing Analyst - Flexible Paper Products

 

Location:  GTA - East

 
Description:

Our client, a major supplier of paper products to the food industry, is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join their customer focused team. This is a new position that has been created to provide quick, accurate and reliable pricing to growing client base.

Reporting to and working very closely with the Pricing Manager, this position will be initially responsible for:

  • developing pricing from costs for direct sales & distribution
  • performing market analyses by geographic region
  • performing spreadsheet analyses & reporting findings

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

The successful candidate will have some post secondary education coupled with 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in an estimating role. Strong computer skills are essential as is a strong knowledge of excel spreadsheets & word applications. Some familiarity with AS400 & Cognos would be an asset. This position requires an individual who is/has:

  • Strong math skills and the ability to provide accurate pricing analyses for a multi-faceted client base
  • ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • strong organizational and math skills
